rusting down, your flattery kills me
so empty, so cold, with a face of joy
I look at you with a tear in my heart

your eyes majestic and far away
striving to be seen, as I am only watched
look at me with a smile, neglect my tears

the tender deep ocean in your eyes, makes me sick
the blood in my body burns my veins, melts them open
my heart bursts into flame at your touch

I am so sick with love, sadness overcomes me
feeling is lost, happiness is confusing, emotion is gone
your voice drowns me, and the fake smile appears

as you disappear from sight, I fall in pain for how I let you go
my eyes grow heavy with your memory, as I grieve in it
laying in the pool of my fear, my doubts, my bitter losses

as I wish for you, to meet you once more
wanting one last time, one last chance at life
as my tear drops to the floor I beg
begging for you to understand me

I hold your lips shut tight, just listen
my body shivers at your fear, your anger

stepping back from you as I surrender
